INVITATION TO BIDDERS
The contract documents for this project include this specification section and the Project Plans with the
BIDS will be received by the Town of Pittsville, firstname.lastname@example.org, 7505 Gumboro Road,
Pittsville, Maryland for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Pole Building, Contract No.
0841A001.014. Bids will be accepted by the Town of Pittsville until 2:00PM, on December 15, 2021.
Work includes the design, permitting, and construction of a 40’x80′ pole building at the Wastewater
Treatment Plant site. The building shall include a concrete floor, a concrete apron in the front, a 10’x10′
room, a 20’x20′ loft area, three (3) garage doors, one (1) exterior door, one (1) interior door, and all other
appurtenances required to provide a complete building. The bidder shall provide site work as needed to
remove topsoil, compact subgrade, and pour the concrete slab. This work shall be the base bid.
Bidder will be given the opportunity to provide a separate price for the installation of electrical work in
the building. Electrical work is noted on drawing A-401. This work shall be the electrical alternative.
Bidders shall be licensed and insured. Bidder can furnish optional upgrades for the Owner to consider.
These shall be options and should not be included in the base bid.
Excess excavated material (topsoil, spoils, etc.) can be left on the project site to be removed by the
Owner. Select fill, if required, shall be negotiated as a separate price outside of the base bid.

The right is reserved as the interest of the Town of Pittsville may appear, to reject any and all bids, to
waive any informality or irregularity in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid.
